Our Atlanta branch, located in Forest Park, plays a vital role in our national operations and is seeking a skilled Licensed Customs Broker to join our team.

Position Summary

The Licensed Customs Broker will support the Import and Brokerage Operations team, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and is passionate about mentoring teams and driving results.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily brokerage operations and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other regulatory agencies
• Conduct classification research for complex items
• Maintain and improve standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with carriers, government agencies, and global partners
• Support freight forwarding operations and customer coordination
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Licensed Customs Broker certification required
• Minimum 5 years of brokerage experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong knowledge of classification, regulatory compliance, and freight forwarding
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to pass TSA background check and drug screening
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Strong business acumen and decision-making ability
• Experience working with diverse cultures and languages
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems independently
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and compliance programs

Working Conditions

• Primarily office-based with occasional time in warehouse environments
• Must be able to lift/move up to 35 lbs occasionally
• Vision and physical mobility requirements apply
